We went to see Galle Fort today and walked around enjoying the lovely scenery and the architecture of 17th century. A doggie appointed himself as our tour guide and decided which route we should take, until we disappointed him by walking along the same street twice-we had noticed a coffee shop there-when he wanted to take us back to the gate. At 43 years of age, feeling a little jaded and bored with my life, I really felt in need of some "me" time, a bit of soul searching and time out to decide just what it was that I wanted to do with the next phase of my life. Prior to now, I had always set goals for myself and been able to achieve these through determination and most of all passion. Where had that passion gone?
