Hiba, The best thing any person can do when encountering something new is to become informed before placing judgment. For me, at least, I would rather approach something objectively and let the facts of my observation be my guiding light.

Obama was right: we are in need of a change. What he neglected to tell us, however, was that the change would be for the worse. With him as our president we're losing freedoms and gaining debt. I think that if the government does collapse, it will...

My husband is fourteen years my senior and we get along wonderfully. In fact, before we married I wouldn't date anyone under the age of fifty. Older men are more mature, respectful and logical than younger men (typically) and those are the main qu...

My iPersonic Type
Independent Thinker
About me:
I am a natural born cynic. I question everything and do not easily conform to my surroundings. I love a good hearty debate, until it becomes emotional. It's very hard to be objective if one has an emotional attachment.
I've only just begun in getting to know myself and I really like who I am, so change does not come easily for me.

I am currently working toawrd my BS in Forensic Psychology and am expected to graduate next year. My current career goal is to work with recently released inmates to reduce the recidivism rate in the US and to make our streets less crime-filled. However, with all the mundane laws this country has, and is acquiring, that will not be an easy (or promising) task. I am also very interested in serial killers and may go on to pursue a doctorate to study them if my health permits. I tend to lean toward "loners" and blame that on Newton's laws of attraction, most specifically, "like attracts like".

I was recently diagnosed with a very rare, incurable disease but I have a wonderful team of doctors treating me and expect to be around to greet my great-grandchildren into their debt-filled, freedomless existence.

Self-Awareness

I seek peace and harmony
but am suspicious of intentions.

I want deep relationships filled with acceptance
but I won't expose myself first.

I only go out to feed my appetite for being alone. (Lord Byron, revised by me)

I am a paranoid schizoid with avoidant issues. I justify my behavior and my beliefs on survival, both physical and psychological.

Do we form beliefs based on experience or do we create experiences based on our beliefs?
Hmmm...

i thought about what you wrote;)
i see it the same way.

we should really take care about our needs (concerning trusting people)
and try to convince people to understand us.

i wish you and myself so much courage to stand by our ideas of dealing with people. people, who´ll accept them might be our real friends;)

you are not alone!
