The basis of the spontaneous decisions made by women
If a decision needs to be made on the spur of the moment, a woman, usually takes an instictive call as opposed to a logical call - women are by far more intuitive than men and can sense intuitively as to which direction they should head for, they don't know what lies ahead of them ...but they just have a gut feel about whether they should proceed or not....its an instinctive call as opposed to the logical process that a lot of men tend to follow ....feel free to comment

Actually, when it comes to personality types, a lot more women are "feeling" types; men tend to be the "logical" ones, which means there's a clear difference on the third dimension of our test between men and women. Maybe that's one of the reasons why women tend to act on instinct while men are often very brain-driven. Some researchers claim it's a result of evolution: men had to focus their attention on some clear facts when hunting while women were collecting food from trees and bushes and so on and therefore developed kind of a "broader" perception. I'd say we often notice little things very subconciously, without even being aware of this, but when it comes to the point of decision, these informations quickly add up to the bigger picture that is the base of our decision then. As the process goes on mainly unnoticed, we often have difficulties to explain how we made the decision let go to list the various points that brought us to it. And last but not least, I believe that the "female intuition" thing is something that most people can accept - whilst a man has probably quite a hard time when trying to defend a decision he made intuitively.

You are so right, especially when you say that men are brain driven because of the evolutionary factor. It makes perfect sense. Also, I read somewhere that a woman’s sense of responsibility stems from the biological process of pregnancy. It is a woman who carries out the nine month pregnancy, and is subconsciously aware of it even during the sexual act, and hence less likely to indulge in casual sex compared to a man. A man can have casual sex or sex with no strings attached, coz he does not have to shoulder a nine month pregnancy. That is why women tend to be more responsible and stick to their words, and think long term before commitment.

Intuition, instinct, and gut responses --- these are undeniably strengths of us women that deserve respect. Probably all of us could write a note on here of personal examples...Recall the saying "It is a woman's prerogative to change her mind" -- I think this change of mind is the natural course we take due to changing circumstances we face daily, inherent wisdom personified. So as we work to stay true to ourselves, to protect those we love, to listen to others, etc. change of mind must naturally take place.
