iPersonic Community

The community based on the iPersonic personality test.

The further development of iPersonic depends on you - in a literal meaning. I really appreciate your feedback and your initiative. It is essential for me to know what you want. This is why I am putting up this wish list. This should be the place where we discuss new ideas for iPersonic.

I'd like to start with some specific areas.

Groups

Currently, only I can set up a new group. So please contact me if you'd like to create a space where you want to discuss and share things with other members. I suggest that you ask two or three members if they'd like to start a group with you. One of you can be the group administrator. This person will be able to invite new group members, set up the group name and icon etc. etc.

The first group that was established by demand is "The Forge", a group for metal fans on iPersonic. Check it out to see how a group should work. The group was requested by Yova. He is also the group admin.

Need any topics for new groups? How about
  • cooking/vegetarism
  • cats
  • Yoga, Reiki, meditation
Hey, I know that some of you are definitely interested in those topics ;-)

Translations

One of the first things that popped up here at iPersonic was the idea of having the test translated. Localized versions could make it easier for non-english speaking members to join iPersonic. We now have a group that started to translate the test into spanish. Thanks to Yova, we are making a good progress. Ronaldo just started another group for the translation into portuguese.

If you'd like to help on the translations or if you'd like to start a new translation project - let me know.

New Features

Prince of lies asked me, whether we should implement a quiz. What's your opinion about that? Can you think of any additional features that you may like? A worldmap? You got it ;-) A world clock? Any need for an events calendar (for your birthdays)?

The iPersonic project is limited in resources - but I'll see what I can do to work things out.

New Members

iPersonic is growing with a good rate - at least in my opinion ;-) This isn't about quantity. This is about meeting interesting people that are on your wavelength. We started 4 weeks ago and now we have members from all continents here at iPersonic. It is really fascinating to see how many interesting people you can meet in such short amount of time ...

You can help to make this grow by inviting people that may appreciate being on iPersonic with you. Maybe you've got some other ideas how we could attract new members? Let us know.

So, that's it for know. Feel free to discuss the future of iPersonic here with me!

Hi nalini, one way to increase the text size is with a function inside your browser. I have a german version so I try to translate mine to give a short instruction. In the menu bar is an entry called "view". And under this point there is another entry called "Enlarge Font" or "Zoom". It depends on your browser. And here you can enlarge your text size. But this enlargement is limited to your own web page view and is not html inherent. I hope I could help you. Bye Scorpio

Thank you Scorpio, I'll try that. My eye sight is weak so small font is difficult. And my computer knowledge is next to nothing.
Thank you, again.

Hmm. A short story perhaps? everyday? I can see there are a pretty number of readers here and it would be fun and exciting for them to read a short story everyday. It could be something to look forward to in opening their account in this community, esp me. Then at the bottom of the story is the comment page. Oh how I love reading them too! What do you think? ;)

I think this is a great idea! Would it be stories that they wrote themselves or stories they like and want to share with others?

Reply to This

It could be both. But I guess they don't have enough time to write their own stories everyday so they can get these stories from other sources and share it with us. Are you also fanatic of stories? ;)

Hi there,

mmmh, I just added a feature to the community home page which features popular blog posts.

Either you could write you stories as blog posts, or I could open a group that could be used to write and discuss stories.

Let me know what you're thinking.

Hello Marcel!

I have noticed that! ;)
I didn't expect it was an attempt to answer my request. That was fast. Hmm. Honestly, it's a great idea to feature popular blog posts. But some blog posts aren't really stories (with the plot, characters, most like fictional short stories). I think, you should also try to open a group for that where story-lovers could post their favorite short stories. Just make them sure that they will recognize the author of the story at the end, and of course, feature the new stories in the main page.

By the way, how do you know that a blog post is popular?

Thanks Marcel! You're fast! ;)
Still, you didn't answer my question above.

Oh, I think the system looks for the most visited blog posts. Should I feature the latest posts instead?

Reply to This

Hmm. I guess the latest is better. So that they'll have the chance of being read. Anyway, either way will lead the readers to other blog posts. What do you think?

;)
Ok, I switched to latest posts.
