hobbies and personalities

I was wondering about the different types of hobbies people have and if there a link between personality types and hobbies. I'm DI and I love painting and art and poetry and color. And if you're an artist does your personality type distinguish the type of art you like or do? I like impressionism, realism. and surrealism.

Can't fight the feeling that there is a Thinker hidden in you as well. Most people are a mix of two personality types, anyway, so this is not unusual. What do you think, which thinker type is it? Especially when I read your answers to the "Indigo personality" discussion, I thought there could be an Analytical Thinker hiding behind your ED. Or maybe an Innovative Thinker? I'll do just about anything to keep my mind occupied i'm always thinking of ways to improve things. My stepson moved here from Indiana he's in awe of all the mountains but as for myself they hold no appeal since i've been in them alot. So that's about it, but i do live in a rural but beautiful part of Virginia and we might ride up to a lake tomorrow and do some hiking.; ▶ Reply to This

My type is ED/ESTP so I'm always ahead and looking for some action. Hiking, trekking, climbing, tennis, football are my favourites. About Art, I'm into Music and there's a wide range of possibilities and styles. My top 3 styles are essentially Progressive Rock, Jazz and Blues.; ▶ Reply to This
