sure Tunisia traditions are waaaaaaay different than other traditions, for example the traditions from my country (Spain) although we live quite near ;)
even my aunts are so different that i sometimes think i can't understand them my whole life!
as for other cultures, it's the exact reason why i'm here: to know people from different cultures so that i can at least get the gist of what this world is about.
i can start with my own city, for example. i live in istanbul. if anybody is interested in anything about istanbul, ask me.
first clue: you don't have to wear "authentic clothes" when you visit istanbul in order to look natural, 'cos it's not, we don't wear them here: they look strange =)
It's interesting really to think how different everyone's lives are...Even your neighbors. Being in California I'm kind of immuned to the whole 'tradition' thing...Or maybe it's just my life.
Though I am interested to know what some people's traditions are?

i am wondering about personal or LOCAL traditions in a GLOBAL world;))
but maybe there will be always some traces of traditions left like family feasts,
holidays......
sometimes i am very mixed up entering a strange country and having read about the countrie´s traditions.
it seems so unreal....being a spectator and a part of the scenery as well.
