I know there are lots of fashion style out there, but let's simplify them a bit, and here are some major styles that I could think of...

- Resort style
(T-shirt n jeans lover, laid back casual wear, anti-layers, cotton khaki lovers, thin layer of mini dress, beach wear, island wear, etc)
- Tribal and ethnic style
(Safari motives, ethnic fabrics and prints, big and huge accessories from exotic materials, leather lovers, etc)
- Bold style
(Full color, bold print, harajuku style, emo, gothic, futuristik, unique and unsual style, etc)
- Glamor style
(Elegant, blink - blink includes here, gown lovers, jewelries, etc)

So, which one is yours? Please named your personality and your choice.
Any style that you could think of? Major please..

I am an AT and I choose Resot Style

and Marcel Heyne replied:
Wow, that is interesting! Never thought about that!

I must admit that I am not very much into fashion and I didn't even know what Resort style means - thanks for the description! ;-)

Yes, I am an AT and I prefer the Resort style. Guess I am a bit of a slacker. Love Cardigans and Chucks ... And Polo shirts ...

You've already outed me as a Resort style AT ;-)

I thought about the topic that you brought up. I really think that fashion is about emotions and personality - that's why I am interested in the outcome of this discussion. Here in Europe I am noticing more and more that people are starting to have some "rational" thoughts on fashion. What I mean is that some people prefer clothes that have been manufactured using ecological fabrics etc. Ecology and sustainability seem to play a role for at least some groups.

I am saying that because I believe that especially Idealist type of personalities would reflect their "purchase decisions" in that way. Am I wrong? Potential "ecological" styles would be Tribal and Resort? At least that's what I see when I look into catalogues with ecological clothing.

Yes, you're right. Organic and Eco fashion plays significant part in fashion world today. Since fashion is one of the most unfriendly industries to the nature, it should change the way it produces and evolves to a better one.

We can imagine, 1 person have more than 3 pcs of clothes, how many pesticides or chemical stuff that had been used in the cotton field, air-water-and chemical pollution on the production process to textile, then from textile to garment, and even after become garments or apparels, we will still need to wash-rinse-clean them in daily basis using detergent (again water pollution). Expect 1 t-shirt could stay for 2 months, how many water pollution that we create on daily basis for one shirt? That's why we need organic fashion for the future, and eco fashion by recycling the stuff for now until the organic fashion is ready to take place. That';s the main idea I guess.

And yes, fashion is about emotions and personality. Not only in the style or trend field, but also in purchasing decision and ethical basis. Well, I have seen some ecological style that is quite feminine and not only tribal or resort, but I guess that's the fastest and easiest style that we could create today since those two styles have large part of natural materials and the simplest one. Don't know yet about the future. :)

Btw, maybe this is just me, I choose resort style at first is not because of the ecological issue, but because of the comfortableness. Sounds selfish I know, but that's the truth. Even if there is no ecological issue, I will still choose the resort style :D Hahaha...

I'm an LD. Frankly, I don't really know how to describe my style as one type. I could say that I'm a mix of everything. But one thing for sure, my look is always girlie with a touch of sophistication, and sometimes a bit sexy ;)

Im an SD, and I usually wear "resort" to school and random hang outs with friends, but sophisticated clothes dominate my wardrobe at the moment. :P

I'm An Engaged Idealist. And I Love Black Skinny Jeans.
Does That Mean Anything?
Lol.

Well, can't tell the meaning yet. Still collecting some datas. :D Hehehe...
Anyway black skinny jeans is something bold. It follows the structure of your body type, and flexible at the same time. So supposed you are a confident person who has a strong character, hate wishy washy, and has a great sense of adaptation. :D

Hmm... basically, I wear Resort style, too, I think. But sometimes also some special clothes. Like a knee-long black coat in winter. But I'm no gothic... ;-)
